abrazo.life is built to be a safe place to dance, teach and organize — and a safe place to pay. Here's how we protect payments and the community, and how to tell us if something's wrong.
Payments handled by Stripe
All card payments and payouts run through our payments partner, Stripe — a certified (PCI-DSS Level 1) provider trusted worldwide. We never see or store your full card details, and Stripe's own fraud detection screens every transaction.
A dedicated anti-abuse team
A dedicated team monitors the platform for fraud, fake listings, payment abuse and misuse of our features. Suspicious accounts and transactions are reviewed and acted on, and we cooperate with Stripe to keep bad actors out.
Measures that protect everyone
Reviews are verified and anonymous, and holds and refunds are handled automatically for classes that don't run. When an organizer asks us to reach out to dancers on their behalf — for example to fill a class — a moderator checks the request first, and dancers' identities stay private. If we spot abuse, we suspend the account and reverse what we can.
